Some of the advantages of online schooling include a more individualized education plan for each student according to their abilities and learning styles and more one-on-one communication with the teacher without interruption/comments from other classmates. Also, a child with a medical issue could keep up with classmates while recovering or use it as a long term option instead of returning to the regular classroom.

I think the biggest disadvantage of online schooling, of course, is the lack of face-to-face interaction. It's important that children develop social skills at a young age and online schooling doesn't really lend itself to that. I also wonder about the commitment that is given to the online classroom. Do students really work as hard or as much as they do in the regular classroom? Supervision is another problem. I think online students need to be supervised in order to stay motivated and active with their learning.

I think a blend of both types of schooling would be the best for students. They could get the social interaction they need along with the technology knowledge for their future. Three school days in the regular classroom and two online? Doesn't sound too bad to me.
